E3 2019 | Nintendo Direct | Heroes Everywhere!

Okay, Nintendo's E3 direct has been and gone, and they actually had a fair amount of stuff to show. From new Smash Bros. characters, to other new entries in their own IP, to some interesting third party titles. So it looks like even two years after its original release the Nintendo Switch is still going strong.

So let's have a little chat about it.

Opinion | Jedi Fallen Order Trailer | Cautiously Optimistic

E3 has started! ...Kinda...

Electronic Arts had their big live stream today, in which they showed off a bunch of stuff they are working on. Among these was their new Star Wars title, Jedi Fallen Order; and to be frank, it was the only one worth talking about. So let's do that, let's have a look at the fifteen minute gameplay demo that put out, and have a good old gab about it shall we?

Opinion | State of Play May 2019 | Getting Better

On 9th May Sony streamed it's second State of Play, which to be frank, was a fair bit more impressive than their first one. It had more games for people to be excited about, managed to open fairly strong, and close the show even stronger; which I already covered on Youtube.

News | Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid - Go Go Power Rangers!

It has been almost exactly twenty-six years since the first episode of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers first graced television screens, and whilst the franchise may not be quite the juggernaut it once was, it still seems to have a little weight behind it. In the last couple of years the series got a brand new, high-budget film, and received a videogame spin-off, and a series of comic books; and now the Rangers are getting another new game, for consoles and PC this time.

That game will be called, Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid.

Review | Super Smash Brothers: Ultimate - World of Smash

So here we are, Nintendo have released Super Smash Brothers: Ultimate, the latest in their smash-hit, company-wide fighting game series. The hype leading up to this game was intense, with this being billed as the definitive game in the franchise, with more stages and characters than ever before. This is also rumoured to be Sakurai's last go with this particular property, his swansong, as it were.

So whilst the Super Smash Brothers games have always been high-quality, does this particular title live up to the sheer amount of hype it generated?
